🙋 Featured FAQ 🙋
Q: Does anyone have a “pure” D, i, S, or C style?
A: You won’t find an Everything DiSC® assessment result where the shading is solely in one quadrant of the DiSC map. Everyone is a blend of all four DiSC styles. This is true even for people strongly inclined to their style (i.e., people whose dot is at the edge of the circle).
The DiSC map below shows someone with a strongly-inclined i style. Yet you’ll notice that there’s still a bit of C style in the mix, indicated by the yellow shading.

Know the goal of your questions
Facilitators use different types of questions for different purposes. Closed questions ask people to recall and repeat information or to reply with a simple yes or no. They’re helpful when you need to take control of the process or move things along to save time. Open questions are helpful as discussion starters or follow-ups. They can also redirect the course of a conversation.
